Cookie policy
Last updated: 25 September 2026
STAY PALMA, S.L., CIF B57743072, C/ Bayarte 14, 07013 Palma de Mallorca, email info@staycatalina.com, informs you in accordance with Article 22.2 of Law 34/2002 (LSSI) about the cookies used on staycatalina.com.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file that a website stores in your browser so that it can remember something about your visit, such as a choice you made. Cookies can be set by the website itself (first-party) or by another company whose content the website loads (third-party). They can last for one session or for a fixed period.
Cookies this website sets itself
One. It is called sc_consent, it stores whether you accepted or declined third-party cookies, and it lasts 180 days. It is only set when you make that choice, contains no personal data and is not shared with anyone. It is a strictly necessary cookie, so it does not need consent.
This website uses no analytics, advertising, social media or tracking cookies of any kind.
Third-party cookies that load only after your choice
- Booking engine (Book page): the SiteMinder booking engine is loaded only after you accept in the notice on that page. Once loaded it sets its own technical and session cookies to run the booking process. Details: SiteMinder’s privacy and cookie policies at siteminder.com.
- Map (Contact page): Google Maps is loaded only after you click “Show the map”. Once loaded, Google may set its own cookies and receives your IP address. Details: Google’s privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy and cookie information at policies.google.com/technologies/cookies.
Both providers may transfer data to the United States. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; SiteMinder relies on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. Retention periods for their cookies are set out in their own policies.
How you give and withdraw consent
Nothing from a third party loads until you act: the notice on the Book page and the button on the map each ask you first. Declining leaves the site fully readable; you can still book by email at info@staycatalina.com. To withdraw consent, use the button below, or delete the sc_consent cookie in your browser. The links below explain how to manage cookies in the main browsers.
